Known Supply.png

At KNOWN SUPPLY, we are re-imagining apparel production in a way that honors and celebrates the people behind the clothing we buy.

As shoppers, we rarely consider the implications our purchases have on the communities who actually make the items we wear and as a result companies are incentivized to drive prices and quality lower. This needs to change. We work with under-served populations to provide meaningful work and to show the powerful impact our clothing purchases can have if made thoughtfully.

We introduce you to the woman who made your apparel in an effort to bring people back to the forefront. Each KNOWN SUPPLY product is accompanied by the signature of the person who made it.

Supporting our community means a lot to us, and it's the reason we started this business in the first place! We are located near the International District of Albuquerque, an area home to many of the refugees and recent immigrants to our city. Vibrant with culture, it is nonetheless one of Albuquerque's pockets of poverty. We are committed to creating good jobs in this area, and work with refugee resettlement programs to find many of our employees. We provide on-the-job training, health and education benefits, flexible hours, and, we hope, a great place to work!

Revolution was founded with the purpose to build relationships and community. Their beginnings were simple. They came together as a group of women with a heart to love their neighbors. They began setting up workshops to teach women the craft of jewelry making – allowing them to generate income, grow in self-confidence and build hope for the future. When standing together, we are stronger. It is through times of crisis that supportive community is needed most. That is why Revolution exists

Founded by a young girl desiring to make a difference in the world. She traveled to Africa for the first time, and befriended women who were prostituting themselves just to feed their children. Instead of asking for hand outs, everyone was looking for opportunities. Badala's line of jewelry and accessories, and later our housewares, was born out of this request for employment.

Since launching in Kenya, we have expanded our employment programs to women and artisans across East Africa, Central America, and domestic sex trafficking survivors. Thank you for joining us in this journey to see poverty and sex trafficking ended!

JOYN began because the Murray family decided to sell everything they owned and move to Rajpur, India. They learned that in order to bring real hope and lasting change, you have to bring opportunity giving people a chance and the dignity to pull themselves out of the poverty. They discovered talented artisans in Rajpur who made beautiful textile products, but lacked availability to markets. JOYN provides employees with steady jobs, education and vocational training, medical assistance and daily meal plans.

An+Orijinal+Look.jpg

ORIJINAL was born from an appreciation of unique textiles. Our core values have remained the same - a commitment to craftmanship, an appreciation for the Turkish culture that continues to inspire, a love of travel, and above all else; a celebration of the colors and textures that make each and every kilim textile one-of-a-kind.  Repurposing these textiles allows us to upcycle items that would otherwise be devalued based on their condition instead of adored for their inherent beauty. Once the rug reaches our studio in NC, each necklace is affectionately crafted by our team of makers from around the world, making ORIJINAL a truly global effort.

We're about Love. Love is universal. And so is our appetite for storytelling. We've seen how connecting others through the universal truth of love brings laughter, joy, and happiness.

Every purchase creates a sustainable livelihood for thousands of Maasai women and their families and expanding production from Africa to Southeast Asia & South America along the equatorial line, creating jobs while fostering local artisan craftsmanship.

When our "accidental company" started, we knew one thing: Grace & Lace would be more than just socks. While our desires deal with being a sought-after brand of quality, on-trend knits and clothing, and providing an incredible customer experience, we're also making a REAL difference and changing the world. We fully believe that God has given us this business as a platform; a platform to inspire others to dream big and beyond their wildest imaginations. We work with diligence and do our very best, but leave the results to God. This is His business and we are simply the stewards.
